I can’t believe it’s been 7 years since a bunch of us were dragging in tables, electrical cords, and general nervousness in from the pouring rain at Pinkerton High School in Derry NH.

We didn’t really know each other too well. I had a
neighbor who had “dragged” me into it. But here we are! New Hampshire Techfest.
This organization was on the front side of the now “Makers Faire” hype promoting
STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, to Middle and High School
aged students.
Over the past few years we have seen kids jaws drop. From laser shows, to
building bridges, dance moves to star gazing. Apples flying through the air?
What a great way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon. What
impresses me the most is the impact that a handful of dedicated volunteers can
make. Kari has been working hard with Yvonne to make sure all exhibitors are
set, the house is ready, and the students are prepared for fun! All we need is
YOU.
Please reach out to anyone in the greater New Hampshire area to come to see the
event. Parents, students, companies and/or organizations involved in STEM. I
hope to see you there on October 24!!
Steve
