Jenny Fultz! We are going to miss you!

I have accepted a position in the Event Management

office at the JW Marriott Indianapolis and begin that journey in October. I

can’t begin to describe my emotions as I leave my SRE (and FIRST) family. I’m

feeling overwhelmed by the support from my team and the well wishes from clients

and vendors.

Last week, the Show Ready Events team had our annual Fall Retreat in New

Hampshire. It included meetings, a social event at FIRST HQ, and team building

activities over the course of a few days. I must say that they were some of the

best days I’ve spent with the SRE family; my stomach was sore from laughing! We

had a wonderful (and productive!) few days together. Upon my departure from

Manchester, I knew that this job – although it was so much more than that –

would never truly leave me.

I want to send out a THANK YOU to every single person, client, vendor, friend

that has crossed my path over the last two years. THANK YOU for the memories.

THANK YOU for the advice. THANK YOU for the inspiration. And, most importantly,

THANK YOU for the support. My life has been a roller coaster of events

throughout my time at SRE – buying a house, having a baby, moving home to

Indiana – and I wouldn’t have been able to get through any of it without the

support of my amazing SRE family and community.

I’d like to conclude by saying that this is certainly not goodbye. Fortunately

for me, I have quite the connection to FIRST and am blessed to surround myself

with that community; I hope to see many of you at different FIRST sightings! And

to my SRE family, you’re stuck with me. J I won’t be on those weekly calls but

you can bet I will continue to own my place as part of the family. I raise my

glass to the memories, the experiences and lifelong friendships.
