Count Your Blessings

Well I guess I have to count my blessings. I didn’t win the huge lottery
yesterday.
March 31st, 2012
I went in with Lance Lowenstein on 40 tickets, and stood in a short
line at a small store across the street from the DC Convention Center. Lance
and I had it figured out. When we won, we were going to leave the jobsite and
start counting our money! But not really. We would have finished the job, but
would have been more cautious, as if we might die before we got a chance to
spend any of our luck.
I routinely count my blessings. It’s important. I don’t take stock, just take
a moment each day to reflect about how lucky I am. Great family, friends, and
career. Love my business, it’s a challenge, but one that I love. Here at the
Washington DC FIRST Regional, I once again get a chance to meet interesting and
wonderful people, and see student’s lives change.
In the end, isn't it better to count blessings than money?
